Due to the continued growth of the greenkeeping department, we are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Greenkeeper with excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for fine turf management. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to further develop their career within the golf industry while working as part of a dedicated and forward-thinking team.
Working closely alongside the Course Manager and Deputy Course Manager, the successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining and presenting the golf course to the highest possible standards. Daily duties will include mowing, aeration, top dressing, fertiliser applications, course setup, bunker maintenance, and all aspects of fine turf care.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and prepare the golf course to exceptional presentation standards
- Operate and maintain a wide range of modern turf care machinery
- Assist with course renovations, aeration, fertilising, turf repairs, and bunker maintenance
- Follow all health and safety procedures and best working practices
- Participate in weekend and bank holiday rota work
Personal Qualities & Experience
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Positive attitude with a proactive and professional approach
- A committed team player with a desire to progress within the industry
- Previous greenkeeping experience desirable
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management or equivalent preferred
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certificates advantageous
- Chainsaw certification beneficial

Pay: £28,500.00-£34,500.00 per year
