Drainage Engineer / Operative

Monday – Thursday 08.00 – 17.00
Friday – 08.00 – 14.00

As a Drainage Engineer/Operative you will be required to carry out a range of services associated with cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance, pipe lining and patch repair works of both domestic and commercial drainage (including both reactive & planned works) in and around the North East area and to deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise whilst maintaining a high standard in regards to the company, your vehicle and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Duties are to include but not limited to:
- Clearing blockages including toilets, sinks and hand basins, urinals, baths, manholes, gullies and mainline drains.
- Carrying out and compiling/coding CCTV drain surveys.
- Accurately recording job details via internal and client job management systems.
- Weekly call out work and overtime will apply.
- Undertake works to a high standard on a first-time fix basis where possible.
- Communicating effectively with clients, customer and office team on a daily basis to ensure excellent customer service is always provided.
- Take part in company call out rota
- Repair work such as Install Patch Liners, pipe lining etc
General Responsibilities

Experience & Qualifications
- Engineers must have at least 5 years industry experience;
- Hold a full clean UK driving licence;
- High pressure water jetting (HPWJ)
- CS1 – (Medium Risk) Confined Space Entry and Entry Control
- Level 2 Award in Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces (6160-02)
- CCTV surveys;
- Plumbing skills
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and competency with regard to all aspects of drainage;

Remuneration & Contract:

Pay: £30,000 per annum Plus Call Out Rate
