Chalk Education are working with a lovely, vibrant, primary school in Chadderton who are seeking a year 1 teacher for September 2026.
They are seeking a year 1 teacher who believes in not only academic achievement, but in cultivating a positive learning environment that addresses the diverse needs of students, promotes social and emotional growth, and prepares them for future success.
About you:
- Be a strong and confident teacher who wants to ensure the happy and healthy transition from the Early Years to Year 1
- Have experience as a year 1 teacher ideally, but experience in another year group is fine
- Non-judgemental and be able to encourage this mind-set in students.
- Be committed to instilling a strong sense of social justice
- Value diversity in every way, shape and form, and fully embrace this within teaching
Additional requirements:
· References confirming suitability for role
· Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willing to apply
· Eligibility to work in the UK
