In this essential role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling and distribution of linen supplies, ensuring that all areas of the property are stocked with fresh linens and that laundry operations run smoothly. Responsibilities
- Collect, transport, and distribute clean linen to designated areas throughout the property in a timely manner
- Receive and sort soiled linens from guest rooms, laundry carts, and other departments for proper cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen storage areas to ensure easy access and safety
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring linen supplies and notifying management when stock levels are low
- Support laundry operations by loading and unloading linen from washing machines and dryers as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to handle linens hygienically and prevent contamination
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure linen needs are met promptly and efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive work ethic
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling laundry equipment is a plus
