Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Dew Drop Inn. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and a high standard of quality in all areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, culinary arts, or food production, with a passion for team management and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the establishment.
- Assisting in social media marketing.
- Supervise and train staff in various roles including, bartending, and front-of-house positions.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure quality food production and presentation.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Implement training programmes for new staff members to uphold service excellence.
- Assist in creating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hospitality management
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Craft beer knowledge preferable
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Experience in food production or kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Bartending experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Outstanding communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
