Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking to play a key role within a growing manufacturing business?
We're recruiting for a well-established manufacturer seeking a Business Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational flow of the business. Leading a team of five, you'll ensure customer orders move efficiently from quotation through to production, whilst providing the planning, reporting and coordination needed to support continued growth.
This is a hands-on role within a lean and ambitious business where you'll work closely with senior leadership and have a genuine influence on how the operation develops over the coming years.
The Role
- Lead and support a team responsible for quotations, order processing and customer support
- Oversee the accurate management of orders within the business system
- Coordinate and schedule work into production to maximise efficiency and on-time delivery
- Produce and analyse KPI and management reports to support decision making
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows
- Work closely with Production, Sales and Leadership teams to ensure the smooth running of the business
What We're Looking For
- Experience in an Operations Manager, Office Manager, Business Operations Manager, Production Planning or Manufacturing Operations role
- Background within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
- Experience leading small teams and driving performance
- Strong organisational, planning and reporting skills
- Confident user of Excel and business systems
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency
