Joining a growing team, the Travel Executive will be based at the company’s Head Office in Chester with hybrid working. The role is full time and will be required to work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis.

The Travel Executive will support and assist in processing holiday bookings, managing customer information in travel systems, booking ancillary services and concierge activities and meticulous management of customer special requests, producing essential customer documents and ensuring smooth handling of the holiday booking post sale to departure.
Core duties:
- Providing administrative support to assigned members of the sales team, including processing, and managing bookings.
- Collating, seeking, and providing information for quotes, enquiries, and confirmed bookings, including on destinations, accommodation, services, experiences, in a timely and professional manner.
- Preparing information to be presented in a professional manner, as per the Company guidelines; and if required responding directly to clients and agents via email and phone in a timely manner.
- Proactively liaise with suppliers, hotels, and other partners to support with availability, secure confirmations, gathering information, prices and requests and finalising accurate booking details.
- Booking ancillary services, providing concierge services, and meticulously arranging customer special requests and seeking opportunities to exceed clients’ expectations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and information in booking, airline, CRM systems and central files.
- Carrying out thorough and timely reconfirmation of holiday arrangements prior to departure, troubleshooting, and resolving issues if identified.
Skills and experience required:
· Prior experience in a sales support, customer service, or travel-related role is preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proven ability to deliver timely and positive outcomes when dealing with competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong motivation for delivering excellent service.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team and using own initiative.
· Good level of experience with MS Office.
· Familiarity with travel systems and Airline GDS systems preferred.
· A passion for travel and understanding of the tour operator industry preferred.
