JOB START Monday 22nd June 2026 - We are seeking a skilled and experienced Self Employed Joiner to help us with our current joinery fit out on some offices in Liverpool until the contract is over. Any candidate interested should get in touch and we will give you all the details.
A strong background in construction-related trades is essential to succeed in this position.
Duties
- Fabricate, assemble, and install bespoke joinery components such as doors, windows, staircases, and fitted furniture.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to cut, shape, and finish materials with precision.
- Carry out carpentry tasks including roofing, framing, cladding, and general construction work.
- Perform masonry tasks where required, including bricklaying or blockwork.
- Engage in plumbing and electrical work when necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct construction painting and finishing to achieve desired aesthetic results.
- Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and installation of materials or equipment.
- Collaborate with clients and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met within agreed timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout each project phase.
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and construction painting.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools including drills, saws, sanders.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces when required.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and other tradespeople.
