Job Summary
As a Security Door Supervisor, you will be the front-line guardian of our premises, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all staff, visitors, and contractors. Your role is vital in managing access points, monitoring surveillance systems, and preventing loss or unauthorised entry. Responsibilities
- Manage access control by authorising entry for employees, visitors, and contractors through verification procedures.
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity in key areas and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Perform loss prevention activities by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of access logs, incident reports, and surveillance footage reviews.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Assist in emergency procedures by coordinating with emergency responders and executing safety protocols efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in security operations or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Certification in first aid or emergency response is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity quickly.
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with team members and visitors alike.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
