Our DS Smith Packaging site in Devizes is searching for a Warehouse Co-ordinator.
The Warehouse Co-ordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate stock control, co-ordinating inbound and outbound movements, managing warehouse capacity, and ensuring materials and finished goods are available to meet production and customer delivery requirements.
In addition, the Warehouse Co-ordinator will provide cover for the Production Planning function during periods of absence, ensuring customer orders are planned effectively, production schedules are maintained, and raw material requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the site warehouse and external storage facilities.
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor warehouse capacity and ensure stock locations are optimised to support operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions within company systems.
- Co-ordinate the movement of finished goods to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Work closely with Production, Customer Services, Transport, and Supply Chain teams to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full.
- Support the efficient loading, despatch, and receipt of goods.
- Stand in for Production Planner when absent
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, stock accuracy, and operational performance.
- Support projects aimed at reducing costs, improving service levels, and increasing operational effectiveness.
