We're currently looking to add a talented and dedicated Barista to our team at Fitzbillies BRIDGE STREET in Cambridge. Finding the right fit is crucial to our success, so I'm looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, customer service, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for every guest who walks through our doors.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a range of high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll welcome customers, take orders, operate the till, serve cakes, pastries and other baked goods, and help create a warm and welcoming café experience. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods and latte art. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a commercial coffee machine, including opening and closing procedures, basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and consistently producing excellent-quality coffee.
To excel in this position, you should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience as a barista is required, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a passion for coffee and a willingness to learn.
To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to work well under pressure. We are looking for someone who is a team player, reliable, and has a strong work ethic.
We offer a range of benefits to our employees. These include opportunities for advancement, staff discounts on food and drinks, free meals and drinks whilst on shift, and a supportive and inclusive work environment. At Fitzbillies, we value our team members and are committed to helping you grow and succeed in your career.
