Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team in Oldlands Way. Monday to Friday 5/5.15pm to 7/7.15pm. 10 hours per week.£13.45 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and replenish supplies as needed
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Interact courteously with clients and staff, providing excellent customer service
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles requiring travel between sites
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear communication
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
