Maintenance Engineer
Shift - 4 week rotation of Days and Afters
3 weeks Days - Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 4 pm, Friday, 7 am to 12 pm
1 week Afters - Monday to Thursday, 2 pm to 10 pm, Friday, 1 pm to 8 pm
Primary responsibilities:
- Maintenance, service, and repair of CNC lathes, milling machines and other equipment.
- Minimising down time.
- Shop floor improvements.
Knowledge and skills:
- Proven experience of maintenance in a CNC manufacturing environment.
- Pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Gearboxes, pumps and motors.
- 3-phase electrical maintenance.
- Controls, control panel fault find and repair.
- Welding and fabrication.
- Facilities maintenance.
Experience and education:
- Good knowledge of HSE regulations.
- IPAF and Forklift trained.
- Time served and qualified electrical/mechanical/multi-skilled engineer.
- IEE regulations qualified would be beneficial.
- Experience of Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak/Mazatrol, and/or Haas control experience advantageous.
