Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Company Ltd is a wholesale confectionery and bakery Company supplying hundreds of businesses worldwide. We are a small family-owned Company, passionate about providing bespoke tailor-made products and we are proud that our clients include numerous well-known ice cream brands. This is a great opportunity to work in an administrative type of role within our busy warehouse environment. As part of a small team, you will provide operational and administrative support in respect of stock movements and ensuring all the relevant paperwork and systems are managed and updated.
Day to day you will be involved in:
- Ensuring stock control and rotation is carried out and all stock, raw materials and packaging are accurately recorded on the system at all times.
- Coordinating with the Warehouse team to ensure all picking lists are prepared, orders are picked in advance and paperwork is ready for dispatch.
- Print off Bling orders, print labels, pick & pack stock, arrange delivery through our nominated couriers and ensure all paperwork and systems are accurately managed and updated.
- To support with stock takes and the investigation of stock movement anomalies.
At all times, you will be dedicated to ensuring our customers receive their deliveries on time and to a high level of satisfaction in line with our Company values.
You will ideally have experience of working in a warehouse, food manufacturing or customer service / administrative type environment. The successful candidate must have strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages, such as Outlook, Excel and Word, would also be beneficial if you have worked with SAP Business One but not essential. You will also have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), be organised and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. FLT (counter balance) would be beneficial but not essential.
You will have the ability to pick and pack stock within a warehouse environment (from pouch size up to 20kg) and have great communication skills to be able to work with all departments to ensure stock. A driving licence is essential as there may be the need to use the Company van to drop orders at the local Royal Mail depot near the factory.
The working hours for this role are 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. However, there may be flexibility to start earlier e.g. 7am and finish earlier, so please let us know if this is something you would like to consider.
