Shift: 7:30am-10:30am & 2:30pm-5:30pm

Pay: £17.50-£19.00 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join a friendly school in Huyton, Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment and enjoys being part of a school community.
As School Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, security and general maintenance of the school premises. You will help ensure the school is safe, secure and ready for pupils, staff and visitors throughout the day.

Opening and securing the school premises

Carrying out daily checks of the buildings and grounds

Ensuring the site is clean, safe and well maintained

Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance

Setting up and moving furniture and equipment when required

Monitoring and reporting maintenance issues

Supporting contractors and visitors on site

Managing basic site security and health & safety checks

Maintaining outdoor areas and school grounds

Responding to any site-related issues during working hours

Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school
We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and responsible

Practical and confident carrying out general maintenance tasks

Able to work independently and use initiative

Friendly and approachable with staff, pupils and visitors

Health & safety conscious

Well organised and able to prioritise tasks

Previous caretaking, maintenance or facilities experience is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
