ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Waiter / Head Waitress to lead by example and deliver exceptional service every day. You will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the front-of-house team, ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards, and creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or Supervisor in a busy restaurant
✅ A genuine passion for hospitality and Italian food culture
✅ Excellent leadership and team motivation skills
✅ Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
✅ Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
✅ Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy service
✅ Good knowledge of food, wine, and classic restaurant service
✅ Fluent spoken and written English (additional languages are an advantage)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and support the front-of-house team throughout service
- Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service to every guest
- Ensure smooth communication between the restaurant floor and kitchen
- Supervise section allocation and service standards
- Train, mentor, and support junior team members
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving service and operational excellence
