The Role: You will be a key person for a small group of children, creating engaging, inclusive experiences that spark awe and wonder—from sensory trays and story adventures to outdoor investigations. You’ll observe, plan, and celebrate progress, partner closely with families, and help make every day feel special, safe, and stimulating.
Daily Duties:
Plan playful, purposeful activities aligned to the EYFS that nurture communication, confidence, and independence.
Be a brilliant key person: build trusting relationships, track progress, and keep records up to date.
Champion safeguarding, inclusion, and SEND best practice every single day.
Turn everyday moments into learning gold—snack time maths, anyone?
Collaborate with a friendly team to keep our environment inspiring, tidy, and well-resourced.
Communicate with parents and carers with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
About You:
Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., EYE, NVQ/CACHE Level 3 or equivalent).
Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
A natural playmaker with a calm, caring approach and a dash of silliness.
Organised, reflective, and confident with observations and next steps.
Safeguarding-first mindset; Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to gain it).
Bonus points for: Makaton, Forest School sparkle, or super storytelling voices.
