Quality Assurance Auditor - Nightshift
(Panama shift pattern)
Purpose:
Reporting to the shift QA Manager, this is a key role within a small close team. As QA Auditor you will be responsible for various daily, weekly and monthly tasks and supporting the business to deliver products which are safe, legal and to the quality our customers expect.
You will be committed to ensuring food safety, quality and health and safety are at the heart of what you do.
Key skills and competences:
Desirable but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate:
- Have experience within an FMCG environment (Food manufacturing preferrable)
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality standards
- Have good problem solving and decision-making skills
- Good communication skills; both verbal and written
- Accuracy when inputting data
- Team orientated work ethic
- The ability to effectively organise and prioritise tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
- Hold Food Safety Level 3
- Have a good understanding of HACCP (HACCP level 2 qualification desirable).
The Role:
To be part of a team of people who are responsible for the following:
- Update and maintain all relevant QA databases and schedules
- Support to build a strong food safety and quality culture on site
- Provide support in aspects of food safety, legality, authenticity and quality on site
- Conduct factory-based audits, document and communicate results
- Support in technical audits (internal, external, food safety etc.)
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product standards
- Assist with investigations and prepare reports to communicate outcomes
- Make recommendations for improvement
- Sample collections for Taste Panels
- Log samples to be sent to external laboratory.
