Job Summary
We are seeking a young, dedicated and skilled bricklayer/ improver to join our gang, In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of construction and maintenance tasks that require precision, craftsmanship, and safety awareness. Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble building materials with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform bricklaying and masonry work to construct walls, facades, and other structural elements according to specifications
- Execute carpentry tasks such as framing, installing doors, windows, and cabinetry to meet project requirements
- Conduct roofing installations and repairs ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing for long-lasting results
- Operate welding equipment safely to join metal components for structural or decorative purposes
- Assist with site preparation, including measuring, leveling, and setting up scaffolding or ladders as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools and materials to maintain a secure work environment
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment with attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques
- Experience with roofing installation, repair, and m
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt quickly to changing project needs
- Good physical stamina and dexterity for prolonged periods of manual work in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors effectively
