Overview
This is a split role, between mostly chipping and some tractor driving. For ,most of the week, the candidate will drive and operate our Heinzohack chipper, chipping log and brash for our biomass deliveries and for the rest of the week they will be driving a tractor, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. Applicants should possess a strong work ethic and relevant driving experience, along with a good understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical skills.
Experience
- Chipper driving experience not necessary as training will be given but must have experience in using crane based machines or diggers.
- Must be used to driving large machines.
- Proven experience as a tractor trailer driver
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and perform basic equipment repairs.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive in vehicle maintenance and possess the physical capability for demanding tasks associated with the role.
