Job Summary
Skyline Roofs are market leading company that supply and fit pop top roofs to vans all over the UK & Europe. We are seeking a workshop assistant to join our dynamic team on a seasonal/temporary basis (this could lead to a full time permanent roll). The ideal candidate will possess a can do attitude. This is a very hands on role, you will need to be physically fit as the role involves a lot of heavy lifting. Full training will be given to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and equipment on-site.
- To build roofs ready for fitting and transporting.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements
- Experience with both hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly throughout the workday.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driving licence may be advantageous for site travel. J
