Affinity Care Consortium Ltd is looking for a compassionate and reliable person to join our team as a Support Worker. We have a 24hr a week position available at Sunningdale Court . Responsibilities
- Personal care
- Provide assistance with physical and emotional support of service users, maximising Independence and assisting in empowering them to set and achieve personal goals.
- Ensuring all their needs are met as outlined in their own personal care plan.
- Work efficiently in a team and independently.
- The right candidate needs to be hard working.
- Maintain a high standard of care and comfort for all service users in the home, with the help of other designations of staff, in line with their individual care plans.
- Report any concerns, worries or changes of the service user to the person in charge.
- Keep the home clean and tidy.
- Always maintain confidentiality.
No experience is needed for this job role but would be a bonus if you had experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with home care or assisted living settings
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
We also offer NVQ qualifications.
12 hour shifts (7am-7pm) Subject to change.
