Job Role: Receptionist - Maternity Cover - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
Job Function:
We arerecruiting a Receptionist to join the team located in Newport, Wales .The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the delivery of theCustomer Service experience, ensuring exceptional customer interaction, leavingguests and callers with a positive, professional and lasting impression.
RoleSummary:
Provide an exceptionalCustomer Service experience to site residents and their guests, acting as asingle point of contact for all enquiries they may have.
Ensure guests are greeted& welcomed courteously and their needs are anticipated at all times.
Efficient guestregistration and host notification with the ability to remember guest names andfaces.
Issue passes in accordancewith the laid down procedures and explain the HSE and evacuation procedures toeach guest and non-resident visitors.
Ensure the reception deskis kept immaculate and tidy at all times.
Ensure that all absencesfrom the reception desk are managed so that the desk is never left unattendedduring operational hours.
Completion of the dailyactivity spreadsheets and shift checklists to promote the running of anefficient reception service.
Book taxis and cars forstaff and visitors as required from the approved site suppliers.
Administer the bookings formeeting rooms and inductions.
To be competent andconfident in the use of a range of relevant IT systems.
To proactively assistguests with luggage on their arrival at the building, providing receipt tagsfor all items stored.
To undertake general teamadministration duties for the Facilities Management operation as directed.
To take ownership for thevisual standards of the entire reception area and all related areas that impacton the Customer Experience.
Able to provide, generalinformation on the local area, directions, traffic & travel updates,information on flights and travel timetables.
Contribution to and use ofthe Customer Service team noticeboard at all times.
ExperienceRequired:
Strong experience ofoperating within a Customer Service environment
Experience in operating aresource or a hotel reservation system
Computer literate
Strong customer servicesskills and experience
Present a self- image ofconfidence and authority
Service orientated attitude
Ability to easily memorisenames and recognise individuals’ particulars
Ability to provide servicesto the highest specification within a Corporate Head Office Building
Strong team player
Excellent time managementand organisational skills
Excellent computer skillsand the ability to learn new software and systems
