Prince & Sons Butchers is a modern, family-run butcher’s shop in the heart of Horsell. We are passionate about quality produce, excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for both our customers and our team.
5 days per week (Including Saturdays)
7am ~ 5:30pm - Every Sunday off along with a day off mid-week.
We are looking for a full-time butcher to join our small, friendly team.
About the Role
This is a varied role that goes beyond traditional butchery. As a modern butcher, we produce a wide range of value-added products and pride ourselves on maintaining high standards throughout the shop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and producing value-added products
- Basic carcass breakdown and meat preparation
- Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the shop
- Stock rotation and general shop duties
- Working closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous butchery experience
- Be confident carrying out basic carcass breakdowns
- Have strong customer service skills and experience serving customers in a busy retail environment
- Be able to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- Have good common sense and a positive attitude
- Be reliable, hardworking, and a genuine team player
- Take pride in their work and maintain high standards
