Experienced Driver & Yard Person Required
Tool & Plant Hire Company
We are looking for a reliable, energetic and hardworking Experienced Driver & Yard Person to join our busy tool and plant hire business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering and collecting tools, plant, and equipment to and from customer sites.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Preparing, cleaning, checking, and maintaining hire equipment.
- Organising and maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient yard.
- Assisting customers with collections and returns.
- Carrying out routine vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Supporting the depot team with general yard and warehouse duties.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Experience driving trailers and transporting plant or hire equipment.
- Forklift licence preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate).
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00, with Saturday work every other week

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
