Job Profile
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Warehouse Operations day to day.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Key duties:
- Day-to-day upkeep of the warehouse and workshop — clean, tidy, organised and safe
- Goods in: receiving deliveries, checking against delivery notes/POs, reporting shortages or damages, putting stock away
- Goods out: picking and preparing parts, materials and equipment for jobs; loading and unloading vehicles
- Maintaining accurate stock levels — counting, labelling, locating and flagging reorders
- Issuing tools, plant and consumables to engineers and booking them back in, inspection on return
- Supporting the Warehouse & Site Work Manager with procurement and parts sourcing
- Assisting with basic fleet checks and reporting defects
- Completing workshop paperwork and checklists accurately
- General labouring and hands-on support to engineers and workshop staff
- Working safely in line with company H&S procedures at all times
Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Great Timekeeping skills
- Physically fit
- FLT licence or mechanical aptitude a bonus.
- Willingness to progress into Workshop Mechanical Duties
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
