Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and turf care to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Operate and maintain power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely.
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and other gardening activities with precision.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Operate construction equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparations.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist with general site upkeep including debris removal, fencing repairs, and pathway clearing to maintain a tidy environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on power tools and small machinery.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and spades.
- Experience operating construction machinery like excavators or similar equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance to support healthy plant growth.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on tools and equipment efficiently.
- Construction experience or background in outdoor project work is advantageous for supporting larger landscaping initiatives.
Pay: £26,436.00 per year
