Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves working on various electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. The Electrician will ensure that all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine wiring layouts.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be able to Drive
