We are seeking an experienced Restoration & Drying Co-ordinator to join our busy operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in the insurance restoration industry who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating emergency response works from first notification through to completion.
Previous experience in this sector would be a distinct advantage
The Role
As a Restoration & Drying Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing insurance claims involving fire, flood and escape of water losses.
You will coordinate restoration technicians, liaise with insurers and policyholders to deliver quality service and communication
This role requires excellent organisation, experience with using multiple on-line client portals communication and the ability to prioritise multiple live claims simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate restoration and drying projects from instruction through to completion.
- Schedule technicians, surveyors and specialist subcontractors.
- Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, claims handlers and policyholders.
- Monitor drying progress and arrange follow-up visits and moisture inspections.
- Ensure all documentation, photographs and reports are uploaded accurately.
- Order equipment and arrange collections.
- Track KPIs including response times, service level agreements and completion targets.
- Ensure compliance with insurer requirements and company procedures.
- Resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently.
- Support the Operations Manager with daily planning and workload management.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Located within an easy commute of our office in Kennington SE11
- Previous experience within the insurance restoration sector.
- Experience coordinating flood restoration, structural drying or fire restoration projects.
- Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and job management systems.
- The ability to work under pressure whilst managing multiple priorities.
- A proactive, organised and solution-focused approach.
- A good understanding of insurance claims processes (desirable).
