Job Purpose:
Ø Being a Quality Assurance (QA) / Compliance Lead (CL) at My Versatile Healthcare will ensure that services delivered to clients in their own homes meet high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Quality manager/Compliance Lead will manage policies, run compliance audits, handle complaints, and prepare care teams for inspections by regulators like the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Ø Ensure that service delivery is compliant with relevant legislation, regulatory standards, and contractual requirements
Ø Ensure that person-centred approaches are developed and implemented across the company which place the needs of service users at the heart of service delivery
Ø Achieve sustainable service improvement through the development and implementation of the performance management and quality assurance frameworks
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Compliance & Auditing: Check care plans, medication records etc (as per policy) and service delivery against legal and regulatory standards/review effective mechanisms for monitoring performance about quality and compliance ensuring that these include all key areas such as assessment and care planning, service usersatisfaction, staff supervision, training, and development.
2. Inspection Readiness: Lead preparation for CQC or local authority inspections and guide managers through action plans/ Develop, implement and review effective and consistent systems for monitoring and recording health safety and welfare checks.
3. Policy Development: Update and implement quality management systems, policies, and best-practice procedures/keep up-to-date with legislation, standards, and contractual requirements, interpret relevance to business requirements, and inform the Senior Management Team accordingly.
4. Training & Coaching: Support field care supervisors and support workers by identifying training needs and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
5.Develop and implement a system to ensure that policies and procedures are relevant, up to date, and fully compliant with all legislative and contractual requirements and reflect best practices.
6. Incident & Complaint Management: Investigate safeguarding alerts, client complaints, or feedback, ensuring lessons are learned and embedded and support the management with central recording of safeguarding alerts and investigations, ensuring that outcomes are shared appropriately to improve service delivery
7. Be responsible for the central recording of formal complaints, or defaults and monitor the progress of investigations ensuring that outcomes are shared appropriately to improve service delivery.
8. Keep the Senior Management Team fully informed of all compliance and quality assurance issues in a timely and effective manner.
9. Be instrumental in communicating changes in legislative or contractual requirements, and policy or procedure changes to relevant managers and front-line staff and ensure that this can be evidenced.
10. Support in advising Managers, Co-ordinators, Senior Care Staff on compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements and key performance indicators.

· All staff must report, through the line management process, any aspect of service user care which warrants investigation or urgent action and to take appropriate action in an emergency
· To ensure that service user information data is lawfully gathered, accurate, and up to date and only divulged by the Data Protection Act 2018
· Failure to apply these duties can lead to the individual or the department facing court proceedings

Key Skills & Requirements
· Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and health and safety legislation.
· Communication: Ability to work well with clients, families, care staff, and external authorities.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to review audit results and correct poor practices swiftly.
· Qualifications: Often requires experience in domiciliary care, Degree Level or a nursing background being advantageous
