We are a children's indoor play and party centre, The position is to start the end of August on a as and when required basis to support and provide excellent customer service, host birthday parties, face painting skills would be an advantage but not required as we can teach on the job.
The ideal candidate has a flexible approach to covering Friday evenings, Saturday, Sundays and School holidays (3 weekday minimum availabilty days in holidays additional to weekend hours)
Availability on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday Term Time would be an advantage but not essential
Must be a minimum of 16 years old and left school
Good communicator, reliable, smart, with good customer care, smiley and confident
The position :-Including, but not limited to, Party Hosting Children's Parties, Serving, cleaning washing up, barista work, taking party bookings, booking in customers, cash and card payments, taking food orders, light food prep depending on age, restocking, toilet and facility checks, seasonal events.
Hours are between 9am-7.45pm (general finish is approximately 6pm unless on exclusive parties which is 7.45pm) some term time midweek availability would be an advantage
The candidate must have excellent communication skills with both adults & children, you will be required to serve & handle cash/card payments with members of public on admission, the coffee shop and take food orders, as well take food out.
The successful candidate will be required to maintain the high cleanliness of the setting through cleaning schedules, light food preparation, support taking deliveries & stock rotation.
Ability to use your own initiative
Any kitchen experience would be an advantage or willingness to learn
All successful candidates will require a basic DBS check and reference, willingness to undertake a food hygiene certificate and first aid certificate.
All starting salaries are in line with the National Minimum Wage with the opportunity for enhancements if willing to train as key holder and kitchen
Job Type: Part-time must be able to do weekends and school holidays all part time staff are expected to extend availability in school holidays to three days minimum and one weekend day minimum
DBS check will be required and references
