We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and self-motivated Fast Food Manager to run our busy smash burger container kitchen.
This is a lone-working role, so you must be confident managing all aspects of the operation independently while maintaining excellent food quality, cleanliness and customer service. Hours will be Monday to Friday 12pm-9:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the food container each day
- Preparing fresh ingredients and completing daily food preparation
- Cooking and serving high-quality smash burgers and other menu items
- Managing stock levels and carrying out regular stock takes
- Ordering and purchasing stock from suppliers
- Monitoring food costs and reducing waste
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations and customer areas
- Ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Managing cash handling and till reconciliation where required
- Maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance issues
- Promoting excellent customer service and handling customer enquiries
- Assisting with menu development and specials where appropriate
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-food, takeaway, kitchen management, supervisory or team leader role
- Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen alone
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
