The purpose of this role is to set the strategic direction for the team, taking ownership of the overall Insights and analysis discipline in the market and liaising with other channels to ensure an integrated response to people-based marketing objectives
Purpose of the Role
Working on our Global Heineken Account, the Analytics Director will set the strategic direction for analytics reporting, dashboarding, and data visualisation. Responsible for building high-performing teams and delivering insight-led reporting solutions, this role ensures clients and stakeholders can make informed decisions through clear, impactful, and actionable data storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the strategy, standards, and roadmap for reporting and data visualisation.
Ensure delivery of high-quality dashboards, reporting frameworks, and insight solutions across clients.
Partner with Analytics, Media, Strategy, Data Science, and Technology teams to deliver integrated, people-based marketing solutions.
Own the financial and operational performance of the Reporting & Visualisation function.
Design team structures, resource plans, and capability frameworks to support growth and scalability.
Recruit, develop, and retain top analytics and visualisation talent.
Champion best practices in data storytelling, reporting automation, and visualisation design.
Build strong relationships with senior client and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
Promote reporting and visualisation capabilities internally and externally to support business growth and new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Significant experience leading analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or visualisation teams.
Strong expertise in reporting strategy, dashboard development, and data storytelling.
Experience using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
Proven ability to lead large teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
Strong commercial, operational, and people leadership skills.
Experience within media, marketing, digital, or data-driven environments preferred.
