Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Operative to join our growing manufacturing team. Working within a modern SMT environment, you will play a key role in assembling high-quality electronic and mechanical products that meet exacting engineering and customer standards.

Responsibilities
· Assemble looms, cables and wiring harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings, and work instructions.
· Interpret loom drawings, schedules, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate assembly.
· Identify and report defects, non-conformances, or process issues in line with quality procedures.
· Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with ESD and health & safety standards.
· Ensure all work is completed within specified production timescales and targets.
· Follow company procedures for traceability, documentation, and process control.
· Support continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
· Soldering and termination of wires and cables into D type connectors
· Undertake tasks requiring sustained concentration, including working in seated or standing positions for extended periods, in accordance with role and workstation requirements.
Qualifications
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above preferred).
Previous training or certification in SMT processes and PCB assembly is beneficial but not essential.
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39.0 per week
