We're recruiting General Assistants to join our friendly Food & Beverage team at the stunning Lews Castle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of Scotland's most iconic visitor destinations, where no two days are the same. From serving guests in the Storehouse Café and retail areas to supporting weddings, conferences and special events, you'll play an important role in creating memorable experiences for every visitor.
We're particularly looking for individuals who can commit to working mainly weekday shifts, with occasional evening and weekend working to support weddings, events and the needs of the business.

What you'll be doing
As a General Assistant, you'll work across our food and beverage operations, including the Storehouse, retail, bar and banqueting areas. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service to every guest.
- Welcoming visitors with a warm, friendly and professional approach.
- Providing knowledgeable advice on our food, drinks, retail products and services.
- Serving food and beverages efficiently whilst maintaining excellent presentation standards.
- Supporting weddings, private functions and events within the Castle.
- Operating tills and processing customer transactions accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all customer-facing areas.
- Assisting with stock replenishment and keeping storage areas organised.
- Ensuring all food hygiene, health and safety procedures are followed.
- Acting as a proud ambassador for Lews Castle and Together Travel.
