Join our team at Fine & Country Inn's Group as a Sous Chef or CDP, where you will play a pivotal role in our prestigious gastro pub. As part of our dedicated team, you will contribute to upholding our commitment to consistantly serving high quality dishes from fresh produce.
Duties:
- Lead food production activities in the kitchen, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered
- Oversee kitchen operations, including supervising culinary processes and maintaining food safety standards
- Collaborate with the Chef and kitchen staff to create innovative and delicious menu offerings
- Assist in team management by training, scheduling, and supervising kitchen staff
- Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and hospitality excellence
- Support the management team in daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold food safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is required
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, cookery techniques, and food safety practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail in culinary processes
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues
