As our business continues to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic Level 2 and Level 3 Vehicle Technicians to join our expanding workshop team.
The Role
You'll be working alongside experienced technicians within a modern, fast-paced workshop carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a wide range of prestige, performance and specialist vehicles.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills while working on exciting vehicles rather than everyday fleet work.
Whether you're an experienced Level 3 Technician or an ambitious Level 2 Technician looking to progress, you'll be supported by a knowledgeable team and exposed to a huge variety of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Replace brakes, suspension and steering components.
- Carry out clutch and timing belt/chain replacements where appropriate.
- Perform vehicle health checks.
- Complete repairs to a high standard.
- Follow manufacturer procedures where required.
- Maintain accurate job records and repair notes.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Keep your work area clean and organised.
- Work closely with the workshop team to maintain productivity.
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Motor Vehicle Qualification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Passion for the motor industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well within a team.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within an independent garage or dealership.
- Experience with prestige or performance vehicles.
- Diagnostic experience.
- MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience with Land Rover, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz or Porsche.
