About the Role
We are seeking a practical and detail-focused Technical Technician to support equipment testing, technical records, routine inspections, and engineering activities.
You will assist technical colleagues with equipment checks, record results, maintain accurate documentation, and support basic troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
Previous professional engineering experience is helpful but not essential. Training on company equipment, technical procedures, and workplace systems will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine equipment and system checks
- Support basic testing and inspection activities
- Record technical measurements and results accurately
- Maintain equipment and maintenance records
- Update technical information in company systems
- Prepare basic technical documents and checklists
- Assist with equipment setup and approved adjustments
- Monitor equipment condition and report unusual findings
- Support troubleshooting using established procedures
- Maintain organised technical files and documentation
- Assist with scheduled maintenance activities
- Check tools and equipment before and after use
- Update spreadsheets and activity records
- Support engineers and technical colleagues with routine tasks
- Maintain clean and organised technical work areas

What We Are Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience in technical support, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, IT, or practical work is helpful but not essential
- Applications from career starters and candidates changing industries are welcome
- Previous exposure to technical equipment or engineering environments is beneficial but not required

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Education
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are preferred
- Technical, engineering, science, or vocational qualifications are beneficial but not essential
- A university degree is not required
- Relevant practical or transferable experience will be considered
Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
