Junior Maintenance Coordinator / Apprentice Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Euxton, Chorley (PR7 6EN)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
NWI Reactive Ltd is a growing national maintenance company looking for a Junior Maintenance Coordinator to join our friendly team.
This role is ideal for a school leaver, college leaver or someone looking to start their career in a busy office environment.
No previous experience is required – we will provide full training. What matters most is attitude, reliability, confidence and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
- Answering telephone calls from customers and engineers
- Logging maintenance jobs onto our system
- Scheduling engineers to attend jobs
- Speaking with clients and subcontractors
- Updating customers on job progress
- Obtaining quotations and chasing suppliers
- Learning how a national maintenance business operates
- Supporting the wider office team with administrative tasks

You must be:

- Able to get to the office on time every day
- Confident speaking on the phone
- Outgoing and friendly
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Organised and able to multitask
- Comfortable working in a small busy office
- Not afraid to ask questions or speak up
- Keen to learn and develop a long-term career
This role would not suit somebody who is very shy or prefers to work independently with little interaction.

Holiday Entitlement
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- 2 weeks Christmas shutdown (deducted from annual leave entitlement)
Public Transport
Applicants must ensure they can arrive for an 8:30am start and return home after 4:30pm.
The nearest regular bus service is the 110 route, serving Preston, Leyland and surrounding areas. Current timetables indicate morning services from Preston and Leyland that arrive in the area before an 8:30am start, with return services available after 4:30pm. Applicants should check current timetables before applying.
Apprenticeship Applicants
Applicants wishing to apply as part of an apprenticeship programme are responsible for arranging and securing their own apprenticeship provider and ensuring they meet all eligibility requirements. NWI Reactive Ltd is happy to support suitable candidates with workplace training; however, the apprenticeship agreement and enrolment must be organised by the applicant and their chosen training provider.
Please note that under current UK legislation, young people in England are required to remain in education or approved training until the age of 18. This can include full-time education, an apprenticeship, or working whilst undertaking part-time accredited training. Applicants under the age of 18 should ensure they have appropriate educational arrangements in place before applying.
Salary
Age 21+ - £13.00 per hr
18-20 - £11.00 per hr
Apprentice - £8.00 per hr
