One position is within the Portfolio & Support team, providing pivotal support to the Mainsaver function, the other is within Reactors Programme (PFR and DFR) where you will work closely with the Administrator Supervisor to motivate a busy team in achieving team goals and improvements.
What you’ll be doing:
In this varied and influential role, you’ll take ownership of key administrative processes, ensuring they are effectively controlled, tracked, and continuously improved. You’ll act as a trusted point of expertise for systems and data, supporting colleagues with reporting, training, and process guidance while ensuring data is handled securely. Working closely with managers and cross-functional teams, you’ll coordinate documentation, support projects and facilities, and provide essential administrative services that keep the department operating efficiently and on schedule.
- Take ownership of core processes, maintaining instructions, controls, and quality standards
- Act as a systems superuser, delivering insightful reports and supporting users with training and guidance
- Coordinate and manage documentation, data, and reporting to meet departmental needs
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support, including decision-making within delegated authority
What you’ll bring:
You’ll be an experienced administrator with strong organisational and communication skills, confident working both independently and as part of a team. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset, you’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. A strong foundation in IT systems and database management will enable you to deliver valuable insights and support continuous improvement across processes.
- Demonstrable administrative experience, ideally within asset or maintenance environments
- Strong IT and database skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data
- Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently while contributing to team success
Terms and Conditions
Basic Annual Income – Starting salary of £33,045, to a maximum of £38,000 depending on experience.
Working Hours – 37.9 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with every third Friday as a non-working day.
Annual Holiday Entitlement – 25 days annual leave, 8 public holidays, 2.5 privilege holidays
Contract Duration – 12 month contract.
Security Clearance – The successful candidate will be required to undergo security clearance checks.
