ACCESS YOUR CARE DOES NOT PROVIDE SP0NS0RSHIP OR SP0NS0RSHIP SWITCHES
Every year, more people start to require support to remain living independently. But what happens when someone is identified as needing ongoing care and support? What if there is a delay in their care package?
That’s where Responsive Care Workers step in. This specialist team of care professionals work with clients for short periods of time whilst a package of care is built.
You could be working with a client for up to 2 months before a suitable package of care is built, providing them any level of care and support they may need whilst encouraging independence every step of the way.
Responsive Care Workers support with a range of tasks including:
- Assisting clients with personal care.
- Supporting clients with daily activities.
- Administering medication.
- Nutrition and hydration support.
- Using specialist equipment and correct manual handling procedures to assist clients who are less mobile.
- Offering companionship, support and a friendly ear, giving clients social nourishment.
- Encouraging client independence wherever possible.
This role covers the entirety of North Somerset, so a full driving licence and your own vehicle is required.
