We are looking for a hard-working, organized and reliable individual who can work well in a busy office.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Complete a full range of technical accountancy work including the preparation of accounts on behalf of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Preparing and completing tax returns on behalf of corporations and individuals.
- Assisting with auditing work as required.
- Completing quarterly VAT on behalf of clients and submitting them to HMRC online.
- General tasks and additional duties as required, such as supporting the rollout of new MTD requirements for Income Tax Self Assessment and other relevant compliance activities.
Skills:
- Work well alone, with other team members and clients to provide a high level of service.
- Experience of using accounting software e.g. Sage, QuickBooks and Xero, together with MS Office and Excel.
