Duties
- Greet customers warmly and offer friendly assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate cash registers, process sales accurately, and handle cash and card transactions securely
- Restock shelves, organize donated items, and ensure the shop remains tidy and inviting
- Assist with inventory management by recording donations and updating stock records using basic IT systems
- Provide information about our charity’s work and encourage donations or volunteering opportunities
- Support administrative tasks such as maintaining records of sales, donations, and customer feedback
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily shop operations and uphold health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Basic IT skills for handling sales systems, record-keeping, and administrative tasks
- Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting donations
- Enthusiasm for working in a community-focused environment with a positive mindset
- Experience Essential in working in retail, charity shops and the community.
