About the role
As an Admin Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our school, supporting daily activities and helping us stay connected with students, parents, and staff. Could you see yourself as a welcoming first point of contact, managing enquiries with care and clarity? You'll work closely with our team to keep things organised, from coordinating events to maintaining important records. Your role will help ensure our school runs smoothly every day, creating space for great teaching and learning to happen.
Key responsibilities
Provide a warm welcome at reception and respond to enquiries from visitors, parents, and staff
Manage school communications, including newsletters, emails, and announcements
Keep student and staff records up to date and organised
Coordinate events such as school trips, meetings, and parents' evenings
Support school admissions by processing applications and helping with enquiries
Look after school lunches, including managing dinner registers and processing Free School Meals applications
We are looking for someone who
Has GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4) or equivalent
Has worked in a customer-facing or office setting
Is confident using IT and standard office equipment
Can manage their time well and respond positively to change
Has strong people skills and enjoys working as part of a team
Do you have a genuine interest in supporting children's education and a willingness to learn and grow in your role?
