About the Role
Our agency partner is an award-winning independent creative agency delivering standout campaigns across sport, fashion, FMCG and lifestyle brands . For over 15 years they've partnered with some of the UK's best-known brands, combining strategic thinking with exceptional creativity to produce campaigns that deliver real commercial impact.
They're now looking for an Account Director to take ownership of key client relationships and help shape the future of their Client Services team.
This is a senior, commercially focused role where you'll be the trusted advisor to your clients, the mentor to your Account Managers and the driving force behind account growth. You'll be equally comfortable presenting strategic ideas in the boardroom as you are rolling your sleeves up to solve problems, support delivery and keep projects moving when the pressure is on.

Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership
✅ Own senior client relationships, acting as the strategic lead and trusted advisor across your portfolio.
✅ Build long-term partnerships by understanding client objectives and identifying opportunities for continued growth.
✅ Lead client presentations, quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
✅ Represent the agency with confidence, professionalism and commercial credibility.
Account Growth
✅ Develop account growth strategies that increase revenue and deepen client relationships.
✅ Identify opportunities to expand project scope and introduce new agency services.
✅ Work closely with Business Development and Strategy teams to maximise account potential.
✅ Take ownership of commercial performance, forecasting, budgeting and profitability across your accounts.
Project & Team Leadership
✅ Oversee the successful delivery of multiple creative projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.
✅ Lead internal kick-offs, ensuring clear briefs and strong collaboration across strategy, creative, production and digital teams.
✅ Act as the senior escalation point for challenges, bringing calm, decisive leadership when projects become complex.
✅ Mentor and develop Account Managers, providing coaching, support and career development.
Creative Collaboration
✅ Champion outstanding creative work while balancing client objectives and commercial outcomes.
✅ Support integrated campaigns spanning branding, digital, social, content, video and experiential marketing.
✅ Ensure projects are delivered with exceptional quality, attention to detail and measurable impact.
What We're Looking For
✅ Proven experience as an Account Director , or a high-performing Senior Account Manager ready to take the next step.
✅ Experience within a creative, marketing, digital, production or integrated agency—or another fast-paced client-facing environment.
✅ Strong track record of growing client accounts and delivering commercial success.
✅ Excellent client relationship, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
✅ Experience managing budgets, forecasting and account profitability.
✅ Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
✅ Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, content and creative.
✅ Calm, commercially minded and confident making decisions in fast-paced environments.
