Join the Messy Paws team!
We are looking for a full-time doggy day care assistant to join our team. The role will be varied and challenging, so candidates must be prepared to hit the ground running and get stuck in!
The Messy Paws Club is a West London based doggie day care company that provides day care services for the wonderful dogs of Chiswick, Acton, Brentford and South Ealing/Northfields.
An average day on the Messy Paws team will be demanding, so we need someone who is enthusiastic and hard working. We start collecting dogs at 7.30 am and finish the day by 3.30 pm
The job involves collection and return of dogs, care for them and exercise them at our day care centre and take them on country walks in the morning and afternoon- whatever the weather come rain or shine! We look after a variety of breeds, and welcome all dogs: from Golden Retrievers to miniature Dachshunds. If you are outgoing, energetic and an animal lover, then this is the job for you!
Training, insurance and vehicle will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of call for the dog owners.
- Daily walks with a variety of breeds of dog.
- Ensuring dogs are stimulated, cared and loved during their stay.
- Guaranteeing all dogs are collected and returned safely to clients homes.
- At return, ensuring water bowls are checked and wet dogs are toweled.
- Promoting the business.

- Animal lover.

- Strong customer service skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Teamwork skills.
- Confident and articulate to promote the business to new clients.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Right to work/live in the UK / Settlement status
- Full clean Manual Driving license.
- CRB Checked
- Non-Smoker during work hours.
- Local to Chiswick/Acton/Brentford/South Ealing area (with in 3 miles radious)
Ideal but not essential:
- Previous experience in a similar role or be/have been a dog owner yourself.
- Dog grooming experience
