Job Overview:
We currently have an opportunity to join our artisan bakery /kitchen team and are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with a pure passion for food to join our fast and expanding business. We would like someone with bakery experience, as you will primarily work with our baking team, but is willing to work in all different elements of the business (including the kitchen in our takeaway). The hours are daytime and no split shifts .
Duties:
- Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, traybakes, pastries and bread
- Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Decorate baked goods as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food production processes
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Food preparation
- Food safety
- Kitchen operations
- Experience in a bakery/pastry/ kitchen is essential
