LaunchPad Sports Club is looking for an experienced PE Teacher to join our growing team.
This is a full-time role working across a small number of partner primary schools, delivering PE lessons, PPA cover and high-quality extracurricular sport.
Unlike a traditional teaching position, the role focuses on delivering outstanding PE and sport without many of the wider classroom responsibilities. Alongside school delivery, you'll also lead lunchtime and after-school clubs, holiday camps and community sports programmes throughout the year.
The Role
Working across a small cluster of partner schools, you will:
- Deliver PE lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Provide high-quality PPA cover.
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that meet National Curriculum objectives.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress where appropriate.
- Deliver lunchtime and after-school clubs including football, gymnastics, netball, basketball, multi-sports and art.
- Lead sessions at LaunchPad Holiday Camps during school holidays.
- Support the delivery of evening and weekend community sports programmes where required.

- Has experience teaching PE in a primary school setting.
- Can confidently manage classes and build positive relationships with children.
- Enjoys making PE engaging, inclusive and enjoyable for all abilities.
- Is organised, professional and reliable.
- Shares our belief that every child should have a positive experience of sport.
Essential
- Experience teaching primary-aged children.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Primary PE specialism.
- Sports coaching qualifications.
- First Aid qualification.
