wed2b is Europe's leading off-the-peg bridal retailer, helping thousands of brides every year find their dream dress through a unique, high-volume, high-experience retail model.
With stores across the UK, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation. Over the year ahead, we will be developing major customer journey, digital discovery, CRM, AI, store experience and innovation projects designed to reshape how brides discover, choose and buy their wedding dress.
We are now looking for a Head of Marketing & Customer Growth to lead our marketing function and help turn this ambition into measurable commercial performance.
The opportunity
This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director.
We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded marketing leader who understands how marketing activity turns into customer demand, web engagement, enquiries, store footfall, CRM performance and ultimately sales.
This is not a traditional brand-only marketing role. It is a growth, performance and customer journey role for someone who can connect the dots across paid media, SEO, CRM, website, content, social, e-commerce, agencies, data, stores and customer experience.
You will lead the marketing team, manage specialist agencies, work closely with Retail Operations, Customer Care, Design & Merchandising, IT & Innovation, and become the clear point of accountability for marketing performance across the UK and European markets.
What you'll own

The overall marketing plan across paid, organic, CRM, website, content, social, PR and customer journey activity.

UK and European marketing performance across multiple territories, stores and customer behaviours.

Paid media and SEO agency management, with clear commercial accountability.

CRM strategy, segmentation, lifecycle journeys, customer communication and automation.

Marketing data, attribution, GA4 reporting and insight that helps the business make better decisions.

Website and digital experience improvements that support customer discovery and store visits.

Practical use of AI and automation to improve marketing workflows, reporting, segmentation and campaign delivery.

Cross-functional collaboration with Retail Operations, Customer Care, Design & Merchandising, IT & Innovation and external partners.

Clear reporting to the Managing Director and senior team on what is working, what is not, and what needs to change.
What we're looking for
You will probably be a proven Head of Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Lead or Customer Growth leader from a B2C, retail, e-commerce, multi-site or customer journey-led business.
You will bring:

Strong working knowledge of paid search, paid social, SEO, CRM, analytics and website optimisation.

Experience managing paid media and SEO agencies with confidence and commercial challenge.

A strong understanding of customer journeys, attribution, segmentation and lifecycle marketing.

The ability to turn data into clear priorities and practical action.

Experience leading a marketing team and working with creative, content and digital specialists.

Confidence working directly with senior leaders and other Heads of Department.

Curiosity about how customer behaviour varies by market, territory, channel and store catchment.

A practical interest in AI, automation and marketing technology.

The ability to balance brand, content and creativity with performance, accountability and commercial results.
European or international marketing experience would be a strong advantage, particularly in retail, fashion, bridal, lifestyle, e-commerce or another customer journey-led sector.
