The role
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Patient Services Porter to join our team at The London Clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including Housekeeping, Catering, Portering Services, Food and Catering Services support.
The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who can seamlessly transition between various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

What you’ll be doing

Sample collection and delivery, clean and service hospital areas, ensure the safety, health and morale of Patient’s recovery by helping to provide a clean, safe environment with minimal interference to others
- Floor maintenance – sweep, mop and wet floors, polish floors using buffing machines, vacuuming, shampooing of carpets etc
- General – distributing toiletries, cleaning of doors, washing of sinks, collection of waste, moving of furniture when required
- Linen – checking of stock levels, receive fresh linen and distribute, Ensure Infection Control Policy on the handling of linen is adhered to
- Catering support – assist in setting up and breaking down catering events, collaborate with catering staff to ensure timely and efficient service, ensure cleanliness is maintained in areas used for catering service in allocated areas and as advised by catering supervisors and manager. You will also assist in basic food preparation and service as needed, ensure dining and service areas are clean and well maintained and support kitchen and catering staff in maintaining hygiene standards
About you

Good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
- Good standard/grasp of spoken English and be able to write basic English
- Previous experience in housekeeping, catering, porter services, or food service is a plus but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
- Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols
